Amsterdam, Netherlands, 16th July 2026 — Provenant, the purpose-built Digital Product Passport platform and consulting provider, has today announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the internationally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The certification was awarded by DNV, one of the world's leading independent certification bodies, and covers information security across Provenant's software development, maintenance, and related consultancy services.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the global benchmark for information security management, requiring organisations to demonstrate a structured, risk-based approach to protecting sensitive data — independently audited and verified by an accredited third party. Certification is valid from 7th July2026.
For organisations deploying Digital Product Passports, the security of the platform that stores and manages product data is critical.
