Amsterdam, 17th August 2026: Provenant is pleased to announce that it has joined the GS1 Netherlands Partner Programme, becoming part of the broader GS1 ecosystem. The partnership marks a step forward in Provenant's ongoing work to align its Digital Product Passport (DPP) platform with globally recognised data standards, as demand grows for transparent, trustworthy product information.
GS1 standards, including globally recognised product identifiers and data structures, form a critical foundation for interoperable Digital Product Passports. As regulatory requirements and market expectations around product transparency continue to evolve, standardisation is becoming increasingly central to how brands and manufacturers manage and share product data at scale.
"Provenant are excited to join the GS1 Netherlands Partner Programme and become part of the broader GS1 ecosystem," said Matthew Ekholm, Commercial Director at Provenant. "This partnership reflects Provenant's commitment to further embedding GS1 standards into our Digital Product Passport platform, helping brands and manufacturers deliver trusted, interoperable product data. We look forward to working closely with GS1 to explore new use cases, APIs and market developments, support joint customer engagements, and demonstrate the value that Digital Product Passports can unlock across industries. Together, we can help make Digital Product Passports more interoperable, scalable and impactful, enabling greater transparency, traceability and sustainability across global value chains."
